Kukkainen hölskykortti / Flower shaker card

Teippirulla loppui juuri sopivasti ja päätin siksi tehdä hölskykortin.

My tape roll finished just in time and I made a shaker card using the empty roll.

Uudet jutut / New things:

* uusi hölskykorttitekniikka / new shaker card technique

* uudet perhosleimasimet / new butterfly stamps

Tällä kertaa liimasin hölskykammion kortin päälle (viimeksi käytin kaksipuoleista kohoteippiä kortin takana, linkki). Värittelin kartonkirullaa hieman Distress Ink -musteella. Kammion alla on itseväritetty ja leimattu tausta ja sisällä on Tattered Flower Garland -stanssilla leikattuja kukkia.

This time I glued the shaker chamber on the top of the card (last time I used double sided thick tape on the inner side to create the chamber, link). I colored the cardboard roll a bit with Distress Ink. The paper under the chamber I colored and stamped myself and the flowers in it are cut with the Tattered Flower Garland die.

Perhoset leimasin kartongille ja leikkasin irti. Ne sopivat tähän kukkaiseen teemaan hyvin.

The butterflies I stamped on cardboard and cut out. They fit well with this theme.

Kammiota koristaa kukkarivi ja lehdet, jotka on leikattu samalla stanssilla kuin kukat.

The chamber is decorated with a row of flowers and some leaves that I cut with the same die as the flowers.

Tajusin liian myöhään, että minun olisi pitänyt liimata kammion reunoihin paperireunus, jolloin siitä olisi tullut siistimpi. Yritin pelastaa sen koristamalla sitä glitterliimalla ja muutamalla paljetilla. Mutta kaunis kortti silti on! :)

A bit too late I realized that I should have put a paper edge on top of the chamber to make it look more neat. Now I tried to save the edges with glitter and some sequins. But I think my card turned out nice! :)

Ensimmäinen hölskykorttini / My first shaker card

Näin tämän paperin Mollie Makes -käsityölehdessä ja ajattelin ystävääni, joka rakastaa karkkia, pinkkiä ja glitteriä. Päätin sitten tehdä hänelle kortin ja toivottaa hänelle makeaa päivää. :)

I saw this paper in the Mollie Makes magazine and I thought of my friend who loves candy, pink and glitter. So I decided to make her a card and wish a sweet day. :)

Tämä oli ensimmäinen kokeiluni hölskykortista. Laitoin erlenmeyer-pulloon liikaa karkkia ja siksi ne eivät hölskyneet ihan niin paljon kuin toivoin. Mutta hölskyivät kuitenkin! :)

This was my first shaker card. I put too much candy in the erlenmeyer flask, so it didn't shake as much as I hoped. But shaked nonetheless! :)

Sisältä kortti näytti tältä. Hölskykammion toteutin paksulla kaksipuoleisella teipillä.

From the inside the card looked like this. The shaker chamber I made with thick double sided tape.

Muita yksityiskohtia olivat tekstin lisäksi glitterliima ja extrakuvat.

Other details in addition to the text were glitter glue and extra pictures.
