En ole itse ikinä virponut (asuimme virpomisikäisenä ulkomailla ja siellä ei ollut samaa perinnettä). Mutta koskaan ei ole liian myöhästä tehdä virpomisoksia! En kuitenkaan halunut tehdä perinteistä höyhenillä ja kreppipaperilla ynnä muilla pääsiäiskoristeilla. Tein muutaman oksan puhekuplilla ja kukkasilla.
In Finland we have an Easter tradition, where small kids dress up mostly like Easter witches and go round in their neighborhood and wish good luck and health for their neighbors. They say a small jingle and give a decorated twig. They will then receive Easter candies. I was living outside Finland, when I was this age, so I never did this when I was a kid. In Paperilla's team, we wanted to give tips on how to decorate twigs and so I did my first ones! I didn't plan to go round to my neighbors though. :)

Tein kolme erilaista oksaa. Oksien haarautuneisuudesta riippuu, kuinka tiiviisti koristeet tulivat.:) Keräsin oksat kävelyreitin varrelta kaadetusta puusta. En raaskinut repiä elävästä puusta oksia. Nämä toimivat ihan yhtä hyvin! :)
I made three different twigs. I collected the twigs from a fallen tree. I didn't have the heart to tear branches from a living tree. These work just as well! :)
